I love looking for ways to automate and simplify mundane boring chores, giving room for more rewarding tasks. My biggest passion is designing for users at work.
I am a senior UX/UI designer based in Norway, currently looking for a new position where I can create value.

Work
I work for Vokser, a small but valuable company in Norway. I work as a UX lead - consultant — my clients are mostly Norwegian and I do what I have done for the past 25 years. Designing easy-to-use digital tools that make people's workday more efficient!
Design philosophy
When designing I will focus on creating simple, efficient and beautiful experiences that can be used by all users. Reducing cognitive load wherever I can! After doing user testing for many years, I've met users with sight and hearing disabilities, broken arms - young children, elderly and all in between. I have also designed for senior experts working alongside newly hired juniors. I want to design and write copy that is intuitive and easy to use for all of them!
Research repository
To keep things interesting I am adding new skills, currently focusing on building a system for storing user research. Doing user research is expensive, often they sit vacant in a folder somewhere. Findings are reusable across projects and products so it makes sense to preserve it and make it reusable! I am also trying out AI to be able to find and combine user insights.
Mentor
Every week, during evenings I also volunteer as a mentor for UX Designers and Product managers. Helping young designers find their footing and build an exciting career short- and long-term.
I've also done some local events - Figma Fridays - helping young designers be more collaborative and efficient in Figma.
Personal
I probably have more hobbies than other people have socks. I love the ocean -> Surfing, diving, open water swimming, paddle boarding, and sailing. I do figure skating and free-heel skiing in winter. I have a dog and love hiking forests, the countryside and mountains. I play the flute and love classical music. Travelling has been a big part of my life, and Asia is always my first choice. During my summers I go south to the French west coast for surfing.
